I’m visiting my Aunt and Uncle in New Hampshire and this weekend is Stake Conference. Their Stake President asked everyone to be prepared to give a 5 min talk on the family a proclamation to the world. They are expecting 50% of the normal attendance in the adult session due to the request. Why are we terrified to give an answer. We all ought to be prepared to speak on no notice for 15 min on any gospel principle. If we can’t then we aren’t able to be missionaries. When a conversation turns to a topic we must be educated and ready to reply with truth. Preparation eliminated most desperation. May we like Peter be ready to give an answer to any man that asketh. If we study with this in mind we will have organized and concise thoughts easily presentable to anyone who might ask, especially those of our family and friends who may be searching in a moment of need.
